Easter 2009 at East Canyon Resort

This year we spent the Easter Weekend at East Canyon. My Aunt and Uncle bought into the resort many years ago. I have many fond childhood memories of times spent up there. It was fun to take my children up there. My cousin Amy invited us for the holiday. She is in this picture with us along with Jonathon, Jericho, Jake, Jewel (almost 3 months), and I. This picture was taken during the Easter activities and egg hunt.

Jake is filling his bag with eggs as he finds them.

Here Jake is enjoying the activities that have been set up.

Mommy enjoying Jewel.

Dad helping Jake to cross the bars before Jericho can beat him to the other side.

Jewel with Great Grandma

Taking in a "Mommy" moment. We are watching the fire burn. I promise there is one in there.

Jericho is trying to light the fire. I am trying to keep him from burning down the condo.

More time at the playground. The boys got a bit wild on the tire swing. Jonah flew off.

Jericho is successful at his jump.

It's Jonathon's turn.

And Jonah is next in line. Now if I had a crew of girls instead of boys, would they be trying to clear tires?

Here they are together. Notice Jericho is in his PJ pants. We can never get him out of them. The minute we get home (school, church, etc), he changes right into them. Now that they are holy, I will have to throw them in the garbage before he puts them on again.

Jake is head first down the slide. This kid has no fear. Until Halloween comes and we walk down the costume aisle in the store. Then he screams. Sometimes his brothers trick him into walking down the aisle for their entertainment.

Here is antoher pic of Jake.
You guessed it. I get to be the fuel that keeps the tire swing going. This is the boys favorite by far.
Jonah and Aton.

Jake. Again.

Jonah hanging on for dear life!
Jericho is very strong and full of muscle. Let's hope he has brains to!

Day at Lagoon with Nana

Every year, Nana has a Lagoon Day with the company she works for. The company gives free tickets for all the employee's grandchildren. You can't beat a free day at Lagoon. So we went on September 12th. The weather was cooler and it was a great day. My brother and his family went also. The older boys and cousins(boys) were able to take off with Uncle Dan and go ride the big roller coasters. They got to take Nana's cell with them to check in periodically and thought they were pretty cool. My brother showed us how you could cut to the begining of the line for "Wicked" with the little boys. So we rode Wicked several times because we would get off the ride and hop back to the front of the line again.
Here is Jewel. She did well that day and got to go on several of the rides.

Jonah and Aton on the Rocket.

Jonah and Aton on that big swing. Nana treated them all to a ride. I have never heard them scream so much like girls.

It's Uncle Dan's turn. He took his son Jaxon and my Jericho.

Here they are getting prepped for the ride.

The boys liked to try on the fun hats at the hat shop.
Jonathon with Jake, Jericho, Jonah and Jaxon

Jake went with Nana on the kiddie rides so I could go on the roller coasters with the big boys.

Jake and Anutie Mel.

Nana had the camera with her so Jake got lots of pictures of himself. He likes posing for the camera.

Here we are on the log ride.
Jaxon, Jericho, Jake, Jewel and I.

Jewel's first ride was on the Merry Go Round. I couldn't get her to look at the camera.

Jonathon-West Little League Football-Gremlins

This is Jonathon's 2nd year playing for West. He is the Running Back and Safety again and loves it. He has scored several touchdowns and made some great tackles and has been a part of some great plays. His jersey # is 9 again. In this picture he is carrying the ball.

Here he is with the ball again.

And again.

And here is his coach. Does this guy look familiar?

Jonah-West Little League Football-Mighty Mites

Jonah is playing football in the Ute Little League for West High this season. It is his first season and he is enjoying it. Joe and I kind of "made" him sign up so he could get some exercise. We think he has found a new passion. He plays defensive tackle and offensive gaurd. At his game last Saturday he twice made a solo tackle on the running back. His jersey # is 99.

Jewel is chillin' at the game.

Jonah is the 3rd player over.

So we spend our Saturday's going from game to game and living in the car. Next year we will have three boys playing. It is exciting to see them develope and grow. It is also a lot of work, but very rewarding.

Jr Jazz Basketball

This season of Jr Jazz the boys kept the same players that were on their football team. Joe coached again and this team went undefeted. Jonathon really enjoys basketball and you can see that when he's out on the court. He never misses watching a Jazz game. His favorite player is Williams.

Got the brothers supporting him from the side lines, Jericho and Jake. Notice the red bleachers. They are playing at West. It was kinda cool to be back there watching my own boys play.
Jericho had enough of the supportin' now it was time for some Z's.
